After you land, 便利店 has yogurt drinks, nuts, and bread. Big-city 超市 sell imported cheese — you just buy it in China. I stopped packing "one small cheese" for a picnic. Local cucumbers and tofu are easier.
Final Tip
If it's made from milk and isn't a candy bar, assume no. Dairy pile stays in your kitchen.
